Can I rebuild larger than my old house?
Often, yes, within the zoning limits for your lot. Rebuilding at about the same size is usually the fastest path through the city, while a larger home goes through standard review. We check your lot and walk you through both options.
What fire-resistant materials are required?
Most of the Palisades is in a very high fire hazard severity zone, where California requires ignition-resistant construction: Class A roofing, ember-resistant vents, and fire-resistant siding, decks and windows. We design for it from the start.
Do you also remodel homes that were not damaged?
