Planning a remodel starts with one question: what will it cost? Here are the starting prices for our most common projects in Los Angeles in 2026. Use them to plan, then book a free in-home consultation for a written estimate for your project.
Starting Prices
New cabinets or fronts, counters, backsplash, sink and lighting. Bigger layouts and custom work are priced to your project.
New vanity, tile, toilet and shower or tub fixtures. Walk-in showers and primary baths are priced to your project.
Room additions and primary suites that match your home, with design and permits handled.
Backyard ADUs, attached units and garage conversions, from plans to final inspection.
Every home is different, so your price depends on the size of the space, the layout and the finishes you choose. The in-home consultation and your written estimate are free.

What Affects the Price
- Layout changes. Moving walls, plumbing or gas lines costs more than keeping the layout.
- Cabinets and counters. Stock, semi-custom or custom cabinets, and quartz versus natural stone, make the biggest difference in a kitchen.
- Tile and fixtures. Large-format or natural stone tile, and designer plumbing fixtures, raise a bathroom budget.
- Age of the home. Older homes often need new wiring, plumbing or framing once the walls are open.
- Permits and engineering. City of Los Angeles permits, structural engineering and Title 24 energy compliance for larger projects.
- Site access. Hillside lots and tight access add time and labor.
How to Get the Most for Your Budget
- Keep plumbing in the same place when you can.
- Spend on what you touch every day (counters, faucets, the shower) and save on what you don’t.
- Choose finishes early so nothing waits on back-ordered materials.
- Plan a 10% cushion for surprises behind the walls, especially in older homes.
Remodel Cost Questions
Do these prices include permits?
Our estimates include managing the permit process. City permit fees depend on the project’s size and value, and we list them in your written estimate.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The in-home consultation and the written estimate are free.
Why does the price vary?
Two kitchens of the same size can differ a lot in layout and materials. Your estimate is based on your home and the finishes you choose, and we help you find options that fit your budget.
How long does a remodel take?
Most kitchen remodels take about 6 to 10 weeks of construction and most bathroom remodels about 3 to 5 weeks, once permits are in hand. Additions and ADUs take longer.
